I’ve been waking up way too early, but what’s new? LOL. I mean even 4:30 am is pushing it for me! It’s the time change I think, I’m still not adjusted. It just means more time for writing and maybe some cat naps here and there, but also a whole lot of booooooks.

This is a great book. It’s a murder, mystery, romance, and humor all rolled into one. Slate is still recovering from his gunshot wound when a dog with his own gunshot wound showed up on his doorstep which Slate takes in and fixes him up. He hired a dog walker through this company and precisely asked for a male. What he finds, is this beautiful woman in his guest house. Shortly after he finds her in his guest house, the dog brings a human hand and drops it at Lilacs feet. So, now Lilac and Slate are off to find a possible murderer. Now, the question is, do they find the murderer before the murderer finds them?
